Animation for documentary "Gebär_Mütter", 2017


Every now and then I collaborate with artist and film maker Joey Arand. Her documentary "Gebär_mütter"
deals with surrogate mothership in India, reflecting on the complexity of mothership, politics and economy.
For this production I did field recording during the shoot in India and animations, drawn on paper.

Immer wieder arbeite ich auch mit der Künstlerin und Filmemacherin Joey Arand zusammen. Ihr Dokumentarfilm
"Gebär_Mütter" setzt sich mit Leihmutterschaft auseinander und reflektiert dabei auf künstlerische Weise
den Zusammenhang von Mutterschaft und Ökonomie. Der Filmdreh fand zum Großteil in Indien statt.
Dort mache ich Tonaufnahmen und im Anschluss einige Zeichentrick-Sequenzen.

"1917 - The real October", 2017

In 2015 I assisted in the animated documentary production "1917 – The real October" of film director Katrin Rothe in Berlin.
I worked on background design, puppet building and cut-out-animations in the preproduction.
